Hmmm.. I gave up McDonalds for the New Year.. but the end of the first week I'd had 7 meals. I'm also quite skinny (and it's not bulimia before people just to conclusions).

The problem is there's fast food, and there's healthy food. When you drive around as much as I do, driving up to a window and ordering anything is a bonus. It's not that I don't want to walk from my car to the restaurant (I cycle to work daily, over 5 miles). It's just that it's so much more convenient. If I've got 100 miles to cover.. I hate getting out of the car until I'm on my way.

Anyhow, best of luck with your plan. I found tuna sandwiches, steak and chips, and a few pizza's here and there (as well as pasta bakes and Lloyd Grossman's Sweet Thai Chille) fantastic replacements when I finally gave them up. but still... aim for 1 McD a month :)
